As the founder, owner, and manager of VEL FINE ART, LLC, he is committed to providing you with exceptional service and ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions related to returning purchased items, providing clear guidelines on eligibility, timeframes, and procedures. By using this website, which is operated by the Artist and powered by Squarespace, you agree to the terms described below.
Non-returnable Items
- Sorrowfully, the Artist is unable to process returns for sale items or gift cards. The only returns subject to acceptance are those associated with shipment errors, damage or defects noticed upon receipt of physical artworks or products. Please see this policy below.
Return Terms for Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Physical Items
- Eligibility for Returns: The only valid reasons are related to shipment errors, damage or defects noticed upon receipt.
- Timeframes for Returns: Return requests are accepted within 72 hours of the delivery date. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered.
- Shipping Costs: The Artist is responsible for covering the shipping costs exclusively associated with approved returns and replacements according to the eligibility criteria stated in this Return Policy. Any additional fees will be communicated transparently. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or taxes that may apply.
Return Terms for Incorrect Shipping Address and Refused Package
- Your order will be shipped to the address you provided during checkout. PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE SHIPPING ADDRESS IS ACCURATE AND COMPLETE, including any apartment, unit, or suite numbers. If the package is returned to the Artist or cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees will be required to resend the item. If you refuse the package or it is not picked up and subsequently returned, no refunds will be issued. Additional shipping charges will apply to resend the package.
Return Process for Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Physical Items
- If the artwork or product arrives damaged or defective, or in the rare event that you receive the incorrect item, you can be subject to the following Return Process:
Contact the Artist immediately upon receipt of the item via email at support@velfineart.com with the subject line “Return Request”, so that the Artist can evaluate the issue and make it right. You must provide your order details and clearly state the reason for the return, including relevant photos of the issue.
Return Authorization: The Artist reserves the right to refuse a return if the product shows signs of use or damage not related to transportation. If the return is approved, you will receive a return authorization and instructions on how to proceed.
Secure Packaging: Safely package the artwork or product using the original materials or equivalent protective packaging.
Shipping: Ship the artwork or product back to the address provided in the return authorization at no cost to you.
Inspection: Upon receipt, the artwork or product will be carefully inspected to ensure it meets the eligibility criteria.
Refund or Replacement: If the return is approved, you can choose either a refund or a replacement, according to your preference. In case of replacement, please see the Artist’s policy on this topic below.
Refund
- Refund Method: All refunds will be processed by the same payment method used for the original transaction.
- Please note that some payment processors charge transaction fees which may not be refundable.
- The processing time for refunds may vary depending on the payment provider. Please allow a few business days for the refund to process.
Replacement
- Schedule Compatibility: replacements will be accommodated based on the Artist’s current inventory and schedule availability.
- Selecting an Item for Replacement: If you prefer a replacement, the Artist will assist you in selecting an alternative artwork or product of equal or lesser value. If the selected alternative item is of lower value than the one being replaced, the price difference will be refunded.
Changes to Policies
- The Artist reserves the right to amend his policy at any time. Users are encouraged to review it periodically for updates.
